Pros
Solid leadership, especially the American leadership (the CEO is always a Japanese expat, and gets changed up every two or three years). Financial very stable. Benefits, especially the 401(k), are off the chart fantastic. Pay is highly competitive. The work will challenge you. In many jobs, international travel (mostly to Tokyo, always in business class) is necessary.
Cons
The constant turnover of CEO leads to fits and starts and inconsistency. Office environment is pretty run down, although I hear they're renovating some spaces. Senior leadership is very weak at providing attaboys, which led me to feel as though my accomplishments and work were meaningless. Sometimes Japan gets too involved, and they don't understand how business in the US works.
