This facility has no good points. Even the salaries don't compare to the rest of the industry.

Let me be clear AGC is a good company. The alabaster branch is the worst facility I've ever worked in. Disorganized and you are treated horrible with no support from upper management to do your job. The frustrations and beliefs are held for all coordinators unanimously. Believe me when I say this is not a post from someone who likes to complain. Do not ever work for this branch of AGC auto. The associates that work the floor hate their lives and it's the highest turnover rate I've ever seen. You're lucky if you can get people to even complete the training.

Pros

Decent base pay and because of the swing shift you get 7 days off a month in a row.

Cons

Union is set in their way, no support from upper management, long hours, swing shift, no preventative maintenance on machinery, machines constantly breaking, very low raises (1%) and your performance is based on yield from shift, regardless of effort.
