Many thought these would fuel a future second lay-off. - Lack of trust with upper management because of all the firings and metrics. - Bad management? Managers were either blind to the low resource issue or deliberately ignoring it. - Business plan seemed to be short-term. They were saving money and applauding those that quit. - Managers that did not click with the appointed CEO were fired regardless of being skilled. - Constant flow of people quitting. - Pointless employee surveys.
