Pros

Most of the people here are the smartest, most passionate, and generous people I've had the privilege of working alongside. That makes any "job" easier and those are three qualities you will find in abundance at AIR. The senior management team sets a good example, from the CEO down, and they model the kind of behaviors and values that make you feel good about where AIR is headed. I've had countless conversations (both related/unrelated to my job) with people at all levels in the company and NEVER felt like I didn't count or my opinion wasn't valued. Whether we, as individuals, are successful in a career is a complicated equation. There's nothing wrong with posting honest, constructive or negative feedback on this site, but I would ask anyone who has used Glassdoor like Yelp and summarized your career in the same way you would a bad takeout experience, to think about all of the factors that contributed to that "failure" and ask yourself if you did all that you could while you were here to raise the issue, to talk to your manager or modify the behavior? Don't take the first no as the final answer.

Cons

Every person could find something to complain about, but I think what sets many people here apart is we have the desire to fix it and the willingness to listen and learn!

Pros

- Company has huge goals and aims to innovate all the time. This makes the work challenging and rewarding if successful. - If you innovate and improve processes, you will most certainly be rewarded - Managers will do the best they can to help you grow as long as you (1) do good work for them and (2) communicate your desires - Good mix of young and old people. Outdoor lunch patio. Pick-up basketball team. Go-to friday night bar right below office. - PTO is encouraged and grows yearly

Cons

- Software is so robust and complicated that fixing major issues becomes near impossible. - Sometimes they focus too much on new features when their old features still have flaws. This makes it increasingly difficult to fix old features as more features are piled on. - The problems stem purely from an organizational and planning standpoint. If they can do this better, we can manage our deadlines better and improve the product immensely.
