Pros

This company did a private equity deal that they are trying to bury. The leadership is lacking. I disapprove of the CEO.

Cons

Poor leadership team. Pretending to care is not caring. With Equity deals they don’t put money and investment into people.

We have definitely made changes over the past few years with the focus to continue AIT's growth strategy. Change is necessary, especially when implementing processes and procedures to resolve the supply chain needs of our global customer base. Part of our growth expansion is ensuring we are set up for success and having a financial partnership with a private equity firm continues to remain solid for us as we look to invest in the future of AIT through global expansion, technology innovation and most importantly our AIT teammates. We are moving in the right direction, focused on improving and getting better. Although you might not see it this way, we do agree with you on one thing - pretending to care is not caring. We encourage you to discuss your concerns with your manager or HR Manager about how we can make AIT a place where you are proud to work. Thank you for your post.

Pros

Not much can be said when its comes to Pros, I guess they have pizza parties every couple months.

Cons

In the Home Delivery Department, one of the supervisors really likes asks racially motivated questions, meanwhile discounting any issues you bring up to her, While the other one, likes to spread rumors and ostracizes employees she doesn't deem fit. Their manager and director aren't much better. They act friendly when everything is going well, but the moment you bring up concerns about workload, responsibilities, or compensation, you're pulled into a meeting and made to feel like you're the problem. It does not matter if you out perform your co-workers. Not to mention the director has zero clue what goes on. The biggest issue is that management protects its own. If they don't like you, or if you raise concerns about a supervisor or long-term employee, they'll find a way to paint you as the villain. It creates an environment where people are afraid to speak up because they know there's a good chance nothing will be done, and they could end up facing retaliation for trying. *FYI, I am speaking strictly about the "Customer Experience" department*

We’re disappointed to read that this was your experience. A respectful and professional workplace is the standard we expect across every team, and concerns related to conduct, fairness or retaliation are taken seriously. While we can’t address individual situations in a public forum, we do want employees and former employees to know there are channels available to raise concerns so they can be reviewed appropriately. We value feedback, even when it highlights areas where we may need to improve, and we wish you the best going forward.
