Poor treatment of staff by management - AST AJ Bell Employee Review

HR have very little power over management bullying their staff. Multiple people had raised concerns of the manager on my team but nothing was done to stop this happening. The company claim to be supportive of mental health but this is for show. Manager often very unsupportive of mental health issues and often used this against you. Managers discretion meant they had the power to hold vendettas against staff. Bonuses taken away from a number of staff members for negative behaviour with no further explanation to how they were being negative. Also same for sick pay, some were paid and others not despite same level of sickness - often based on whether manager liked you or not than following the HR recommended guidelines. Great team leaders but don't receive the recognition they deserve. Often blamed for the managers mistakes. Unrealistic targets - one of the kpis had a target of 100% Staff promoted to management despite having no experience and no training provided on how to manage a team. Very limited in opportunities to progress.
