Cons
I wish I had heeded these reviews BEFORE I took the job. Seriously. They are ALL TRUE. They say "we are growing like crazy and putting on staff all the time" which is only b/c Richard, the very eccentric owner, is constantly getting mad and firing someone - usually the great, hard working person in the cubicle next to you - or the person who sat in your cubicle a few months back and eventually it will be you, no matter how hard you work or how committed you may be. Because he owns this small company, he has no wiser team that can advise him, so he rules by emotion, makes rash decisions and is very difficult to work with even when in a 'good mood'. It was like working for an irate toddler. Everyone there lives in fear of being fired and the company culture is like being in a gulag. Appreciation is non-existent; don't even think to ask for positive feedback (or any feedback). People rarely put up personal items in their cubes for fear of being 'walked out' without their photos. There is not even a plant in this place. I've been working in my industry over 20 years and have truly never seen anything like it - one of the most cold, lifeless, and depressing work environments I can imagine. But if you're desperate for a job and have to 'just take anything' this is probably better than McDonald's - at least until 'King Richard' decides to say off with your head. Do yourself a favor and KEEP LOOKING.
