I worked at APCON for 5 about years and I can sum up that experience in 2 words….1. Fun 2. Hard. Like most everything in life, you get out what you put in. I can say I experienced some of my best, my proudest, and most accomplished moments at APCON, but they were also the hardest, most time consuming, and most frustrating career moments as well. Because the successes were so hard and took so long to achieve, they felt fantastic when we met them. Like all good things, they must come to an end and even though I no longer work there, my life and career will forever be tied to that little company and the people in it. If you like working in an environment where you will be challenged in ways you never imagined then APCON is the place for you. If you want an easy, no stress environment then APCON isn’t a match. High tech in general is stressful, fast, and competitive, but a highly rewarding industry.

Cons

It will age you, it will challenge you, and it can chew you up and spit you back out. It is not for the faint hearted, but for those of us who like the adrenaline and roller coaster ride high tech is the place to be.

The people who work at APCON are very nice and knowledgeable.

Cons

The headline says it all. The CEO is a rude, narcissistic bully. His input is never specific or useful, just general mean comments meant to knock employees to their knees. I was out the door as soon as I found another job.
