Pros

The company is very good in hiring talented employees.

Cons

Most new hires left within two years at best after learning that there’s absolutely no future for the company. After almost three decades, the company still claims that it’s like a new startup - meaning there is no growth in the business after all these years. The company has no strategy and the owner, who dictates every decision in the company, is completely out of touch with the market and the technology trends.

You make a great point about being in business for 30 years and still being nimble (like a start up) enough to pivot or introduce new products as the market needs them. The people who work at APCON are very nice and knowledgeable.

Cons

The headline says it all. The CEO is a rude, narcissistic bully. His input is never specific or useful, just general mean comments meant to knock employees to their knees. I was out the door as soon as I found another job.
