Pros

There are none. Would have made more money in a UPS warehouse.

Cons

This is a sales job, so naturally they feed the easy sales to the guys who have been there for years and thus have a solid closing ratio. You will be given the dregs and leftovers 2hours away from your home. You will work 12 hours a day running appointments to broke hoarders who can't pass credit. It is what it is. This company is all about the money and will not distribute high quality leads to you if you don't sell, which is impossible when they only give you the trailers and mini-split leads. They will send you to appointments at 7pm that are hours away from your home that have a low probability of closing. Management does not care about you at all. Believe me when I say that your ability to earn an income is not important. They only care about sales - if you don't get good leads in the first week of the month, you won't sell, and you can expect the dregs for the rest of the month. During your interview they will always show that top seller to get you excited about the potential, but there is NO POTENTIAL. You will be an expendable commodity for a company that is all about the money. Furthermore, their prices are so astronomical compared to the competition that you will have to drop your sales price so low just to get a sale that you will barely make decent commissions even if you do sell. This company does not care about its salesmen at all - you are just a means to an end. I have never witnessed an organization that functioned in such a selfish, myopic way. Literally ZERO care for your success or work-life balance.

Pros

Great pay, amazing benefits, super easy if you’re a people person, amazing management team

Cons

Intensive KPI tracking, independent workload, not work life balance friendly. Your performance can be affected if you’re having a bad day. People treat you like scum of the earth

Pros

You can take work truck home.

Cons

Management has created a challenging work environment where technician support and fair compensation do not appear to be priorities. There are no performance-based bonuses or consistent annual raises, despite strong expectations around sales. Call distribution lacks transparency, with higher-quality leads often going to a small, select group, making it difficult for others to perform at their full potential. Technicians are also expected to take calls after scheduled hours (8 AM – 4 PM), which impacts work-life balance. Additionally, time and travel policies raise concerns. Technicians clock in upon arrival at the customer’s location rather than when travel begins, even when jobs are over an hour away. This results in significant unpaid driving time, often exceeding two hours per day. In some cases, technicians are required to travel to appointments even when customers are unresponsive, leading to cancellations or reschedules without compensation for the time lost. Overall, the expectations placed on technicians are high, but the structure and support systems in place do not consistently reflect or reward that effort.
