Pros

Let me think about it.

Cons

Manager kicks you down even when you are doing well. This is their form of “inspiring you”. It’s demoralizing and demotivating for getting high sales. They cut hours the same day even if you are performing well overall.

Pros

The insurance was good. Weekly pay. Management handed out extra 10-50$ for goals we need to hit.

Cons

Low pay. Was making 20$ hourly. About 9 other dispatchers. Constantly overbooked. Evey customer was yelling at you because we are constantly over booked. Would make about 100-200 outbound calls a day. Most are to reschedule. Management was OK. Definitely over worked to the bone. The building would constantly lose power.

Poor Work Environment

Pros

Good pay. Veteran sales reps made $70,000 - $120,000. They're operationally proficient. It's an efficient process from the sale to the install.

Cons

Poor work environment on the HVAC side. I was there 9 years. High turnover. 10 veteran salespeople. 24 new sales hires came and went in one year. 3 sales managers in 9 months. I'm tough enough. I played varsity sports. The email bullying and gaslighting are unnecessary. Borderline hazing - you're in Raleigh at 6pm thinking you'll have one more appointment closeby, then you get an appointment 2 hours away and get home at midnight. You'll work 16-hour days during the summer. Leave the house at 7am, drive an hour for appointments that start at 8am, get home at 10pm or later. Some appointments start at 9pm. Appointments on Sunday. 1 day off per week, but not if your numbers are low. You'll have to be on the phone following-up and selling to avoid probation. Lot of extra paperwork due to the Home Depot and Lowe's partnerships. Two top sales reps, 20+ year ARS veterans, left for other companies. At least 10 other industry veterans left due to the late hours and bad culture.
