Pros
I’ve only been with AVI-SPL for four months but so far I love it. The culture and the people are family oriented , genuine and very nice. The values seem to be aligned through all levels, and everyone is very helpful. Overall, processes seem to be well defined and not too heavy. IT, HR and all teams and peers I’ve worked with are responsive and helpful. Leadership team is communicative and committed. I’ve been impressed. A few times I made improvement suggestions and they were well received and quickly implemented. It was very refreshing to see.
Cons
Benefits could be a little better. Low 401K match. Low per diem when traveling. Also, the culture abroad and through some of the acquired companies does not seem to be fully integrated. Processes and culture notably different when working with those.
