Pros

Steady Hours, paid vacations, at least 6 paid holidays per year, 401k, and health insurance. Also opportunities for bonuses, and commission.

Cons

Long hours...You honestly feel as if you live there. Work every Saturday unless you ask for that day off in a few weeks advance. If you want commission, you have to sign up at MINIMUM 60 new customers each month. It's the same across the board whether you work in a consistently busy store or one that always has low foot traffic. My particular position is three jobs in one...and my store has been short handed for almost a year...I'm just expected to do the work of three people. Aaron's pays the marketing team way more than me, but I am still expected to use my personal vehicle to drive around town (on the clock but they aren't paying for mileage) and take flyers to other businesses to try and get more customers. They also expect you to make sales calls to try to get previous paid-out customers to come back...you can call 100 people and 3 might say "maybe" but they've yet to come in. This company targets low-income and low-educated people. People that want that fancy 4K tv, but instead of working to save for it, they come in when they have some spending money and make a one month payment and get it delivered within two days (or take it home), just to realize a month later when they're a week past due, that they can't come up with this payment every month for a 12, 18, or 24 months. So they bring it back missing the remote (which isnt cheap to replace) or they demand you to come get it...then you pick it up and it's roach infested. Guess who has to clean it? And smell roaches? (Yeah...they have a distinct smell) and touch this nasty stuff? Me. I've had roaches crawl off of merchandise as I'm carrying it out of a customers home, onto my skin. Onto. My. Skin. For $11.11 an hour?

Pros

All the people I worked with in the store were fantastic people. Everyone helps everyone else and doesn't leave anyone out to dry.

Cons

Management above store level were a nightmare. Easily the worst I've ever experienced. They would change goals often, sometimes within days of having made a change. They would make assumptions about what was wrong without ever actually being in store. They wouldn't speak to ANYONE below the level of a manager to the point of ignoring someone if they greeted them.
