Pros
Some things have historically been (and are still) great. For example, there are an above-average amount of paid time off, sympathetic and trusting managers who are open to flexible working models, a learning budget, book allowance, and some benefits like USC, Head Space, BVG tickets, (although some of these are getting rolled back)
Cons
There are little to no growth opportunities - if you're working at Ableton prepared to be stuck with the same job title for years to come, or a job title that doesn't reflect the work that you do, or even worse some title that really doesn't make any sense outside of Ableton. From talking to colleagues and friends in the industry, I assume our pay is below the industry average (I'm assuming because there's no salary transparency!) There are very few women leaders, especially in our commerce/communication + marketing team which has a high volume of almost entirely all-male "senior" staff. Decision-making is slow and tedious.
