Pros
You can find good folks who care about you and are also good at their jobs (both field and office). Autonomy when scheduling patient visits. Depending on your regional and site leadership, it can be a doable job.
Cons
Terrible work life balance. You don’t get any additional compensation when going over your required weekly visits/productivity (which is often necessary to meet the needs of patients, compliance, and working caseloads of 80-100+ at times). I was a part of the interdisciplinary team but I won’t disclose my exact role. Regional leadership are condescending and belittling. Sometimes site leadership as well, depending on who was in the role. Very high turnover- it was a common consensus among employees that AccentCare as a company overall only prioritizes profit over patients and employees. Oh, and if you are employee of the month all you get is a lousy certificate and an empty shout out. You don’t even get a comp day or a gift card to reward the efforts you made to achieve the title to begin with.
