Pros

Pros Good Vision and Medical Benefits that are very affordable. The also give out "free uniform" that they require you to wear. Salary is good if you're hourly as they'll let you work overtime for as much as you want. Environment is good - co-workers were great and loved working with them. Had a "us vs. management" They host food events to show how they "appreciate" employees. If you are one of the tenured machinist then you can freely do whatever you want. There was one at my time with the company and he would openly talk bad about management and the owners.

Cons

Not even sure how detailed I can be here that would not violate my "NDA". Speaking of NDA, this was not mentioned at all during the recruitment process. I just received it in an email that it was a requirement after I verbally accepted my offer. If you want work life balance then please do not work here. The company claims "work hard, play hard" but in reality it was work hard until you burn out. The owners expect everyone to work as "hard" as they do when it is only them who reaps the fruits of company's labour. Benefits - Dental benefits are affordable but its the same to not having one really. Their dental plan is not good. Their Paid Time Off "benefit" is the worst I've seen in my working career. Salary - If you are considered exempt then don't bother considering their offer. They make you clock in/out and they track your hours even as a salaried employee. 45 hours a week is minimum and this was supposed to be an upgrade from 50 hours a week before. Please consider the amount of hours you need to work as a salaried employee before accepting their offer. Environment - This has been the most constricting environment I have ever experienced. No room for mistakes at all and when you do make one, you'll be met with yelling instead of assistance or training to rectify the mistake. Management - very secretive. They will take note of every mistake you make and you use it against you when it is beneficial for them such us "performance reviews" (despite you correcting your mistakes). There are more cons to say really but I will not "expose" more as it would give away my identity.

These types of remarks are extremely disappointing and hurtful for the company’s leadership and workforce. When Acero sees a review that is full of untruths we obligated to set the record straight. It is our practice to dress our workforce in top quality gear at no cost to the employee. There is also no limit to how much or when an employee can request additional uniforms. The comment “they make you wear them” is so far off our mission and purpose. When you join our team you are invited to look good so you can feel good about yourself and the work we want to accomplish. It is our brand and we make no excuse for it. The posting does highlight our benefits, wages, overtime, and uniform policies. We do appreciate our employees by providing food events, bonuses, and extra time off at holidays. To us, these are good things and we will never stop trying to make life in the factory as enjoyable as practical. It is unclear how the items listed can add up to an “us vs. management” standoff. And it is just not fair to identify an unknown employee as the source of this negative energy. Haters have to hate that’s who they are. Our PTO hours awarded at time of hire are a minimum of 13 paid days off plus 7 holidays. This increases over time to 20 paid days off plus 7 Holidays, that’s 5 week’s pay. To say that this is ‘the worst that I have ever seen says something about the author. The facts are the facts if other companies give more – great ! We think we are very fair. It is simply untrue that “yelling” is a technique used at our company. Yelling on the factory floor just does not happen. The Non- Disclosure Agreement (NDA) referred to in this post is a standard in business. It is 100% included in the offer letter and it is no surprise to anyone. If a person should have an issue with disclosing confidential information they should simply not accept the offer. To say that this not mentioned during the recruiting process is simply untrue and is part of our standard offer letter. As a condition for employment and continued employment, all employees are expected to abide by and sign the Non-Disclosure and Non-Competition Agreement. Employees are expected to keep data confidential at all times”. This is in every offer letter. Exempt (salaried) employees work on average 45 hours per week. No one is mandated to work a 45 hour nor is any staff forced into being a salary worker. This is determined by job classification and is not an arbitrary decision. Many desire the higher salary as they want more money. We do pay top dollar and we know this from nearly 40 years of being in business – and still flourishing!

Pros

I’ve genuinely had a great experience working here. It’s a private, family-owned company, and that really shows in how employees are treated day to day. The culture is welcoming, and the people I work with are not only friendly but also supportive and easy to collaborate with. One thing that really stands out is how much effort ownership puts into making employees feel appreciated. There are thoughtful perks like food trucks, gift cards, a bowling league, and other fun events that break up the routine and make the work environment more enjoyable. It doesn’t feel forced—it actually adds to morale and creates a stronger sense of community. The manufacturing facility itself is state-of-the-art, which makes a big difference in how efficiently and effectively we can do our jobs. The work is also genuinely interesting—we’re involved in medical device manufacturing that helps create products designed to improve people’s lives. It adds a strong sense of purpose, knowing the work we do is important and ultimately helps patients. Overall, it’s a positive place to work where you feel valued, not just as an employee, but as a person. That kind of environment can be hard to find, and it’s a big reason why I enjoy coming to work each day.

Cons

Pros

I have a job that pays.

Cons

Acero Precision has a miserable work atmosphere because of disrespectful and rude management. Employees here are treated terribly by managers who constantly look down on us. There is no respect for our personal or professional boundaries, and managers sometimes insult and yell at us in front of our co workers.

Dear Readers, This review is completely fabricated and does not reflect the reality of our workplace. Our two-person Building Maintenance team has been with Acero Precision for nearly ten years. They are valued members of our organization who consistently do an outstanding job. The statements made in this review simply do not align with the facts. Rather than relying on anonymous online posts, we encourage anyone who is genuinely interested in learning about our company to visit our facility, meet our team, and speak directly with the employees who work here every day. We are confident they will provide an honest and accurate perspective on what it is like to be part of Acero Precision. Unfortunately, anonymous review sites have become increasingly susceptible to false or misleading posts. In some cases, these reviews appear to be created to generate business opportunities for reputation management or consulting firms that later approach companies offering paid services to "fix" the problem. Whether or not that is the case here, readers should approach anonymous reviews with appropriate skepticism. Sincerely, Acero Precision
