Pros

Most of the work involves assisting in manufacturing medical devices, so your work could literally save someone's life. In addition, most of the people I worked with at this organization were very knowledgeable in what they do, professional, and easy to work with.

Cons

Mandatory overtime jeopardizes any semblance of a work-life balance, and once you sign the offer the schedule you agreed to is the schedule you have for the entire duration of your employment regardless of what life circumstances may arise. Furthermore, leadership feels incredibly disconnected from lower level personnel almost to the point of contempt. There is no willingness to collaborate and solve problems, resulting in an antagonistic relationship between management and staff.

We appreciate the time and thought you have put into this post. However, it is difficult to read the title of the post and not be confused. At first, we were feeling very good and then we were feeling extremely confused. Let’s start with “Rewarding Work” and “Great Personnel”. Can we stop right there? For most employees, you just described an ideal situation. Your assessment of the importance of our work and the quality of our personnel says it all. Yes, we provide all new employees a detailed “offer letter”. This is done for the sole purpose of removing any doubt about the responsibilities of the job and the benefits and wages they are entitled to starting on Day One. I cannot imagine a situation where we would decide to change a wage rate, a benefit offered, or a shift schedule that was not agreed to by the employee. The point is very simple. We operate a state-of-the-art facility that is running 24/7. Schedules are necessary for on-time delivery to our customers. Specially, production employees are awarded a generous starting wage rate and the opportunity to work typically Monday – Friday and every other Saturday. The OT is usually connected to Saturdays. Each new hire participates in a formal discussion with the Recruiting Team and a final offer is made based on those conversations. Without being disrespectful, it is hard for us to process how you know how “leadership” may or may not feel. Your use of the word “contempt” is unfounded and not accurate. Our managers and supervisors are engaged and are continually advocating for their team members. Every manufacturing company has a series of processes that incorporates customer deadlines, trained personnel, material costs, government regulations, and safety demands into how the business operates and competes. Acero Precision is no different. No manufacturing company could operate without structure, policies, and oversight. Finally, there is no “blame” but rather the idea of accountability. We do our best to improve and grow as a business. We have been successful business for the past 40 years. We believe that we are better today than we when we first started. We would like to believe that we are better because we have spent the time listening to and supporting our workforce, the best workforce in the region.

Pros

I’ve genuinely had a great experience working here. It’s a private, family-owned company, and that really shows in how employees are treated day to day. The culture is welcoming, and the people I work with are not only friendly but also supportive and easy to collaborate with. One thing that really stands out is how much effort ownership puts into making employees feel appreciated. There are thoughtful perks like food trucks, gift cards, a bowling league, and other fun events that break up the routine and make the work environment more enjoyable. It doesn’t feel forced—it actually adds to morale and creates a stronger sense of community. The manufacturing facility itself is state-of-the-art, which makes a big difference in how efficiently and effectively we can do our jobs. The work is also genuinely interesting—we’re involved in medical device manufacturing that helps create products designed to improve people’s lives. It adds a strong sense of purpose, knowing the work we do is important and ultimately helps patients. Overall, it’s a positive place to work where you feel valued, not just as an employee, but as a person. That kind of environment can be hard to find, and it’s a big reason why I enjoy coming to work each day.

Cons

Pros

I have a job that pays.

Cons

Acero Precision has a miserable work atmosphere because of disrespectful and rude management. Employees here are treated terribly by managers who constantly look down on us. There is no respect for our personal or professional boundaries, and managers sometimes insult and yell at us in front of our co workers.

Dear Readers, This review is completely fabricated and does not reflect the reality of our workplace. Our two-person Building Maintenance team has been with Acero Precision for nearly ten years. They are valued members of our organization who consistently do an outstanding job. The statements made in this review simply do not align with the facts. Rather than relying on anonymous online posts, we encourage anyone who is genuinely interested in learning about our company to visit our facility, meet our team, and speak directly with the employees who work here every day. We are confident they will provide an honest and accurate perspective on what it is like to be part of Acero Precision. Unfortunately, anonymous review sites have become increasingly susceptible to false or misleading posts. In some cases, these reviews appear to be created to generate business opportunities for reputation management or consulting firms that later approach companies offering paid services to "fix" the problem. Whether or not that is the case here, readers should approach anonymous reviews with appropriate skepticism. Sincerely, Acero Precision
