Pros
Had a great relationship with my direct manager. Benefits are decent. PTO was great, but I think if you’re new, you will have to comply with GPNs policy which is just ok.
Cons
This used to be a decent place to work, but since leadership moved to Global Payments it has been a nightmare. Employees were forced back into the office for no real reason. Compensation is not competitive at all (20-30% below market), they try their hardest to not give people raises while continuing to increase workload. Accounting went through a restructuring that was an absolute dumpster fire which led to the few of us remaining doing the work of 2-3 people each. There is no opportunity for advancement, GP insists on hiring externally and all of their new hires are incompetent, thus continuing on with the increased workload - it’s pure chaos right now. Managers were forced to reduce annual performance ratings and put some people on PIPs which are directly tied to compensation bumps - extremely unethical, especially if it’s against the advice of the direct manager. If you’re looking at joining the accounting group, don’t. I feel awful for the few coworkers of mine who are still there, it’s going to be tough there for a really long time because there will be zero accountability from director level management upward.
