Pros
If you're someone who has a good social sensibility and deep skillset you're going to be recognized for your work and effort. Steve, the CEO cares deeply about the people here and the trajectory of the company. He knows the products and features almost better than the developers who build them. He's extremely in tune, and the rest of the company is on board with the vision. The company is established. It's been around for 17+ years at this point... in spring of 2022, so they've grown organically for so long, now it's a big push to becomes titans of the industry.
Cons
Regular growing pains. When I got here we had a knowledge base problem, but that's since been alleviated so not sure that it's a con anymore but it's things like this that are being addressed. Another example is that there wasn't a clear growth and promotion track, but that's being built with extreme clarity. There's a ton of applications in the stack, but the more they get utilized and built by team leaders, the easier it is to manage processes. So it's this kind of pattern where something isn't there, there is a gap but then it gets filled through out time.
