Pros

-Great store level employees. -Ten years ago, had very knowledgeable employees, and paid fairly well. -The years before the Discount Auto merger, were fun and fulfilling

Cons

- Company has completely lost its way. Are you a service station or not? - All the "Free Services" have actually degraded the level of customer service. - Instead of working with the local garages and service stations to increase their businesses, Advance utilizes untrained, minimum wage employees to work on customer's cars for free. - "Why am I outside, lying in a filthy parking lot under a customer's car at 9PM on a tuesday night in late January?"...

Pros

It’s a pretty easy job, very fun people to work with. Hours as a driver are pretty consistent.

Cons

The pay isn’t great. It would be nice if the drivers were making at least $17 or $18 an hour. Also benefits don’t extend to health insurance only dental and vision if you are only considered part-time. Anybody that isn’t the GM, CPP, and RPP are considered part-time, regardless of the hours you get.
