Pros

Overall, if you got into management, you could have a pretty set career. Getting into management wasn't all that hard to do. The team work you develop with other staff is a great morale booster.

Cons

It's turned into typical retail environments. New planograms every week, now we're selling food! It's almost like the store planners that work at corporate used to work for Target and Wal-Mart. Not only are we supposed to sell auto parts, but now we are supposed to ask customers if they want a tin of chocolate cookies with their order! Very bad hours for part-time people. Management will end up taking care of most of the work as there are no hours to give to anyone else who actually works at the store because you can't schedule them.

Pros

A lot of schedule flexibility

Cons

There is a lot of favoritism/bad management, especially in the DC that I work in. (DC-41)

Pros

It’s a pretty easy job, very fun people to work with. Hours as a driver are pretty consistent.

Cons

The pay isn’t great. It would be nice if the drivers were making at least $17 or $18 an hour. Also benefits don’t extend to health insurance only dental and vision if you are only considered part-time. Anybody that isn’t the GM, CPP, and RPP are considered part-time, regardless of the hours you get.
