Pros

The people! Regular customers, co-workers, and direct management were great people to work with. Very accommodating to my class schedule.

Cons

PAY! Public perception of what this type of position pays is just not reality. You would imagine that a person whom is expected to help a customer figure out what is possibly wrong with their car would get paid more for specialized knowledge. The pay is just over minimum wage! Upper management wants the team to care, as long as they don't have to pay them for it. Since many of the employees also work on cars on the side, they do their best to help the customer. They just don't make what they are worth.

If you're lucky fellow employees will be some friendly solid people. Schedule is rather flexible.

Cons

Just about every corporate cliche applies here You're experience will vary wildly based on the store
