Pros

The people I work with make this location a great place to work. I've made some very good friends in the short time I've been working here. I've also met a lot of locals that otherwise I'd never would have befriended. Working at my location has allowed me to meet skilled workers from all trades and have even saved a few dollars by hiring some of them to work on my vehicles and home.

Cons

A lot of emphasis is put on achieving sales goals, which is understandable considering that's the purpose when working in retail - make sales. However, as others have posted, you don't have control of who comes in and how big a sale you make. You can suggest products, tools, and parts to get a job done but ultimately it's the customer who decides what they'll buy and how much they're willing to spend. The starting pay, for me, has been okay (it could be A LOT better though), but then again I have another source of income but if this was my only job, the pay is too low for anyone with a family to survive. Pay increases that come with promotions are minimal unless you make asst. manager or store manager and even then managers could benefit from higher salaries. Right now at my location, we have team members who could really benefit from a $3 - $4 an hour wage increases. It would allow them to not have to live with parents/family, not have to rely on government assistance to buy groceries or housing, and be able to afford the car parts they are selling in order to fix their own broken vehicles.

Pros

Some good employees at the Store lvl

Cons

Everything else. Corporate violates HR laws daily. HR sweeps all under rug. You will regret working for this company. Pay is terrible, McDonald's pays more..... Required 50 a week for GMs. More like 60. You have been warned
