Pros

Great starting job for someone looking to get into something automobile related. Basic knowledge is a must to start but you learn extensive parts knowledge while working there. Can be easy going. Meet other people with similar interests. Quick advancement at store level positions. Employees are constantly coming and going so there is room for advancement if you wish. Usually my manager was flexible with days off. Employee discount. Earn tips (although not often) from installing wiper blades or batteries. On rare occasions, a situation will present itself that allows you go "above and beyond" for the customer (against the stores will) and earn a big tip.

Cons

Horrible regional/district/store management. Typically the other employee's (even management) have next to no experience with automobiles. In general, all the employees at my store very much "disliked" the company. Completely corrupt. For example, new management framing senior employees for theft because its easier for them then to just straight out fire them. Then they'll bring in personal friends to fill the positions. Or a District Manager promising a pay increase for someone taking a management position, but never fulfilling the promise and dragging it out while the employee continues to work the harder position for months. Not rewarded for good work or extra effort. Only lectured when slacking. Is somewhat seasonal. During the winter months, hours were being cut almost in half (actually under minimum 32 hour for full time employee).

Pros

A lot of schedule flexibility

Cons

There is a lot of favoritism/bad management, especially in the DC that I work in. (DC-41)

Pros

It’s a pretty easy job, very fun people to work with. Hours as a driver are pretty consistent.

Cons

The pay isn’t great. It would be nice if the drivers were making at least $17 or $18 an hour. Also benefits don’t extend to health insurance only dental and vision if you are only considered part-time. Anybody that isn’t the GM, CPP, and RPP are considered part-time, regardless of the hours you get.
