Pros

Learned on how to take care of my car, got the chance to get ASE certified, learned on when a mechanic is truly needed and when someone can just do it themselves.

Cons

Having to keep a unrealistic daily sales goal by making people buy things they did not need. When hired they didnt warn me during interview how dangerous the mechanics would be and how crazy they act when they dont get their way, crazy ton of racism was done on all types of cultures, mechanics that were white only trusted white associates and mechanics that were colored (I am spanish) only trusted non white associates., no 10 min or 15 breaks, benefits are impossible to afford, you had to pay for your uniform, you get treated like a military rookie bootcamp person and have to take tasks no one wants to do anymore, no patient hands on training, delivery vehicles needed matineance and company declined it (oil changes, blades, brakes, )

- Good time off and flexible - Some leaders are great - Regular Benefits

Cons

- Not much company or team buidling activities - If you are new you may feel isoated, kind of (cliquey) in some departments - Not much option to switch leaders - With big projects you may feel as if you are doing more than you were hired for
