Pros
#1: Training. You'll learn so much with this company! For free. If you want, use your training to take a basic ASE exam (and perhaps earn a pay bump!). #2: No out of pocket expenses (beyond uniforms). A mechanic can easily spend thousands buying tools and equipment each year. You won't have that issue with AAP. #3: Room for advancement. If you're a hard worker. This isn't a social club. Meet up with coworkers after work if you want to chat. Make sure your GM & DL know you're looking to advance within the company. Put your money where your mouth is! Study at home. Be on time. Be polite to the customers, and your team! Check your attitude and personal problems at the door. Smile. #4: Hours are almost always available. If your store doesn't have hours, ask your manager if any other nearby stores need help.
Cons
Coworkers or managers that bring their bad attitude to work with them. They can ruin your entire day.
