Pros

When the company is doing well, stress levels are low and the company is very team-member-oriented, collaborative, and listens well to feedback. 20% discount at all AAP-branded stores--great for DIYers. Backend technologies far outpace direct competitors. Heavy DEI focus.

Cons

When the company is not doing well, stress levels are high and partners and leadership tend to focus on the numbers more than the business. Misaligned priorities at the top level do not translate well to lower levels, affecting the customer. Like most companies with multi-incumbent frontline workers in the field, there is a negative perception in the field toward the corporate side.

Cons

Everything else. Corporate violates HR laws daily. HR sweeps all under rug. You will regret working for this company. Pay is terrible, McDonald's pays more..... Required 50 a week for GMs. More like 60. You have been warned
