Pros
The home office and company vehicle was a nice benefit. You set your own schedule and are out on the road 80% of the time. That allowed a certain amount of flexibility in the day's start/end toiimes.
Cons
This is a high activity, high volume churn & burn type of a sales job. It's actually not even a real sales job, more like customer service & retention. Drive around all day, visiting the same customer base over and over again. Most of your visits are getting yelled at by the customers for how poorly the stores are performing. The retail team members do the absolute minimum to not get fired - nothing more. Trying to get the store personnel to actually do anything is like pushing a rope. So, you drive around, making 40+ visits per week - dropping off flyers and apologizing for the lack of service offered by the company you are representing. It gets old, really quickly.
