Not Employee Friendly - Anonymous employee Advance Auto Parts Employee Review

As I became employed to open a new store there was a couple of days of training. But, no further training, except through on-line sessions was given. Started at wage barely above minimun wage. After more than 2 years I was offered a pay increase ... of $0.17/hour. This was an insult. Surely with 2 years of experience in their system I was better qualified than that. All employee individual sales, and in my case also deliveries, are tracked. Even when the store has very slow business no adjustment is made and an employee can't drag people off the street to shop. Also, even returns of defective or not wanted items are charged back to the employee's performance. Also, ever changing scheduling each week is detrimental to employee morale.
