We’re very sorry that you feel such negativity towards the company. As Glassdoor reviews are anonymous, we don’t know the circumstances surrounding the end of your employment or your experiences. Each year, we do an anonymous employee survey, and in your location, it seems your experience was not the same as the vast majority of other employees.
For example, 95% of employees said they had confidence in leadership; 97% said they were proud to work for the company and 93% would recommend working there to a friend. We want all employees to have a positive experience, and if you’d lie to share more about your specific situation, we are always open for discussion. You can contact us at howcanwehelp@agemark.com.
It also seems your perspective on how we care for the seniors we serve is very different from the majority of people. For 35 years, we’ve been dedicated to providing the best quality of care to seniors, and our annual family surveys, along with the many online reviews we have reflect this for our communities. We’re proud of the work they are doing every day, and the lives we touch. From the January anonymous survey, 100% of employees said they would refer potential residents to our company, which we feel is very meaningful.
If you’d prefer to see how our employees feel about us from a completely independent source, we opened ourselves up to Great Place to Work Institute last year, and they did an anonymous survey directly to employees, to determine how employees felt about leadership, camaraderie and trust in the company. It was our first year of this process, and we were shocked when we were actually named #13 in the U.S. as a Great Place to Work in senior services! The details and certification is here: https://www.greatplacetowork.com/certified-company/7007274
We truly wish it had been a better experience for you at Agemark, and we hope that your next endeavor is positive and can meet your expectations.
