Part of the team pre-aimbridge in the hotel that stayed with Aimbridge. I was promissed an Ex-Com position when new GM starts. The new GM puts me in “trial” taking care of 3 different departments at the same time in the busiest period of the year. After the “trial” I was told that they were looking for a different profile than me (this was once the hotel was quiet again). Shouting to staff is pretty much celebrated (the GM joked to me about shouting to me every now and then). The Head Office team coming on the biggest days to have complimentary everything, even when we were overbooked and the GM complaining about not cutting enough costs (we were told at some point that every person would have to do potwashing in turns for two months) All in all, chaos, oblivious to the reality, disrespect to the staff as is part of the contract and lack of awareness
