Pros
Willingness to hire newbies to the field.
Cons
VERY toxic work environment. Worked there for years and had the worst experience of my life that has still scarred me years after employment there. It had me second guessing about working in Aviation. But since moving companies, doing the same thing, I've come to realize it was the company that was the problem not the industry. If you we're amongst the "chosen few" this job was amazing for you. However, if you weren't those people made your life absolutely miserable. They would find anything and everything you did wrong and publicly shame in emails or take it to the manager to gossip about. Eventually to the point where you either quit....or you sign the "sign ups" without fight, because you know fighting get you nowhere, until they have enough grounds to fire you. Most of the reviews here about poor management on the Mech side of things....but planning isn't much different. I knew weeks before I was going to be fired because my boss, yes the manager, was gossiping about it to all the other clerks in the office. Which is why it came to no surprise when I got the text message of my firing. Its been over a year and I now joke that them letting me go was the best thing this company ever did for me. I now work for a company that values the hard work I put in and looks at that rather than the words by other clerks and thier judgments. My advise is if your want to clerk, basically administrative assistant, RUN! Otherwise if you do want to work here make sure you have a backbone and a don't give a crap attitude. Otherwise, the ladies who are buddy buddy with thier manager will chew you up and spit you out while pretending to be nice to your face. If I would have known when they hired what I know now....I wouldn't have tried so hard to please people and work so hard to keep a job that didn't want to keep me.
