AFS offers clinicians training, group supervision, individual supervision, and ongoing consultation and mentorship. AFS allows clinicians to grow and gain confidence in supporting children and youth with a variety of mental health presentations.
Cons
At some school sites, you are the sole provider and do not have AFS support on site with you. It is important to build relationships with school staff and stay connected to supervisors and colleagues virtually.
