Dear Former Employee,
Thanks for taking the time to write this review. We are committed to creating a high performing, transparent and collaborative environment for all our employees, so we are disappointed to hear about some of your experiences. We appreciate the feedback you have provided and we will keep them in mind when reviewing our ability to provide an amazing experience to our employees.
Just like most digital agencies, there are crunch times and there are downtimes. We accept that these are part of the industry, and when crunch times come around, we are lucky to have over 400 dedicated team members in the region who are excited about delivering a large scale project, who are willing to work longer hours when it is required. That said, this is countered by downtimes which is not as demanding and gives respect to work-life balance for our employees. This includes your point regarding working weekends which does happen from time to time in our industry due to client requirements, and we ensure that our employees are aware of this ahead of joining as it is also listed down in our employment contract and we currently feel the terms regarding this are very fair to all parties.
We aim to employ the best people, but we have also made a few mistakes along the way, which may have potentially lead to your bad experience with a project manager. We don't believe in immediately replacing an employee, but giving them a chance to grow through experience and training. As a team, we hope to grow and support each other.
As Aleph matures, we continuously look for ways to enhance our employee culture and work environment. The past few years, we have seen a positive evolution of this, but we have learned from our mistakes as well. We thank you once again for your feedback and we wish you all the best in your future endeavours.
With gratitude,
The Happiness Team
