Pros
Compensation is pretty good for the area. Paid time off is generous, company holidays are decent (if you're not expected to work on them due to government contracts). 401k contribution is generous. Company-paid life insurance benefit is rather nice.
Cons
Health insurance is incredibly expensive for high deductibles and poor coverage... and this is at a healthcare-focused company! Heaven help you if you can only afford the HSA plan and have a serious medical episode. Leadership is a mixed bag. Some people are very focused on doing things right, treating their staff very well, and making sure the organization stays true to its values; others are simply trying to amass an empire, subscribing to the mantra that whoever has more employees under them wins, and they will step on anyone and everyone who might be in their way to better their career.
