Pros

Allegiant has been a great company to work for with many career growth opportunities. The culture promotes internal growth both vertical, and lateral. Many members of senior leadership are fantastic. They listen to new ideas, communicate well, and always make themselves available when a team member needs something from them. This last year has been an exciting time of growth for the airline as the Marketing department works to enhance the brand, and help us to become more widely known with national advertising campaigns.

Cons

The company preaches that transparency is key, but many work groups, and a few key senior leaders don't practice transparency. The company also appears to be at a crossroads right now with an unsure forward path. Many new non-airline related business ventures are coming out of the woodwork, and are reliant on the airline's revenue streams. This has definitely been cutting into salary growth, and bonus opportunities for almost all team members. The company has also set expectations that many departments and team members will now have to put a lot of time and effort to help establish these other business ventures while still maintaining the typical duties of our roles which has taken a toll on the work life balance of team members. The main HQ campus in Las Vegas is not very lifestyle friendly either. The company doesn't provide any on-site fitness center, cafeteria, childcare services, and it is not pet-friendly.

Pros

* One of Allegiant’s biggest selling points is that most flights are out-and-back, so flight attendants are typically home at the end of their duty day. * This can be a major benefit if you have children or want a more predictable home life.

Cons

Allegiant’s pay has historically been lower than what many legacy carriers (Delta, United, American) pay, although contracts and wages can change over time.

Pros

Positive Work Culture: Strong team collaboration, supportive leadership, and a community-focused environment. Growth and Development: Opportunities for skill-building, internal advancement, and continuous learning. Work-Life Balance: Flexibility in scheduling, understanding management, or a steady pace that respects personal time. Impactful Work: The satisfaction of solving problems, coaching others, or seeing the direct results of your efforts.

Cons

The customer care department can be an incredibly challenging environment; success and growth here depend entirely on an individual's personal focus, resilience, and daily effort.
