We have not received an increase in salary in years while inflation grows. Most of my coworkers are now having to work two jobs to survive. We just received 1.5% profit sharing. The lowest we have ever been given at the most difficult time financially. The company had the money set aside for profit sharing and chose to only give us a fraction of it. If you have a spouse to help supplement income this may work for you, but otherwise be prepared to take a second job. We already spend hours working every day that we aren’t paid for. We only get paid for actual flight hours and not the boarding or deplaning process. Also aren’t getting paid during delays.

Thank you for taking the time to submit a review and share your frustration. We are currently in the process of negotiating a new Flight Attendant contract and hope to see pay increases in the future. Our profit-sharing program is a perk that is provided to our Team Members that is tied to our profitability and company performance. but is not guaranteed. While our profit sharing payment was smaller than previous, we did pay out the full amount based on the actual profit earned for the period and company performance metrics.

You would have a varied schedule.

Cons

You work a flight and immediately turn back around to go back. You're on the plane all day. There's no time to step off.the plane to get food or snacks or just to walk around.

The customer care department can be an incredibly challenging environment; success and growth here depend entirely on an individual's personal focus, resilience, and daily effort.
