Pros

Good part time pay I feel respected, and treated like my time and effort is valuable, folks are friendly and train well

Cons

No chance of pay increase as part time, no benefits... poor communication between leadership and us minions, a lot of deciphering is necessary... I also feel horrible for the full time people... as a naturally really caring person I wish I could help them figure out a way to be able to work less if they need to (or want to!) without risk of losing their jobs. Many of these people have families... sure the pay and benefits are ok, but if they’re not able to spend time with their family and friends what’s the point?

Dear Team Member - We are one of the largest employers in the area and we feel a great sense of responsibility to our team and our communities. As we fight the global pandemic, the world needs our products more than ever and we are experiencing unprecedented demand. We deeply appreciate all of our team members who have stepped up to meet the challenge. We have put several measures in place to promote greater work-life balance for our team including expanding our hiring, reconfiguring our lines for greater efficiency and balancing the workload between our various production facilities. Pros

Work schedule flexibility in engineering department and labs

Cons

HR has not done a very accurate market analysis in order to ensure the workers are being paid fairly. No plan for workers to grow but you can surely take on more responsibility. Be prepared to fight for any pay increases along the way as tenure and experience do not raise flags for promotions. Managers are not supportive they are only nodding that they hear white noise when you talk to them. They are not in it to help you grow only to secure their own position. Keep your resume up to date, stay marketable and continue to grow personally. Watch whom you confide in!
