Pros
Good work/life balance, relatively stress free environment.
Cons
Everyone is siloed. There is little communication between departments. High level management think very short term and make decisions based on the stock market and not on the big picture. No loyalty shown to loyal employees. When layoffs occur, layoff everyone in a department rather then trying to keep the high performer and move them to an area where they can keep that person and layoff instead a person in that department who is underperforming. You can be great at your job, but it's not going to save you when there's a downturn. The company is too laid back -- "mediocrity" in employees is the norm, and not excellence. Frustrating to see software released the was not tested, then went out the door to customers --- unbeleivable!
