Pros

- Coworkers - Dogs in the office - The customers we serve

Cons

- Pay is extremely low for the amount of work you have to do. - Look up micromanagement in the dictionary and you'll see a photo of the leaders at Review Wave. - Pay is based on your performance. If you perform and hit stats, you'll get a $5-10 raise. How is this a con? This is how it is at every company. If your performance dips (90% of the time its because of things outside of your control) they drop your pay back down to the base of $20 and it becomes a never ending cycle. The pay is a carrot being dangled in front of you. I'd rather be fired than have my paycheck be used as a game. - Lack of processes - processes turn over as quickly as the employees. - Too many useless meetings - don't get me started on the useless Monday meetings. You all are chanting and banging the tables as if you're a cult. - CEO thinks he's Tony Stark/Iron Man and thinks all of his ideas are so innovative. Reality check: They're not and half of the time his 'talks' are tone deaf and cringe. - No one is ever on the same page and all you ever see leadership do is bicker. - This company is an HR nightmare - from workplace politics to ethics, I have never seen a company this dysfunctional (and they embrace it like its a good thing)

Hi! I appreciate you taking the time to provide this review and feedback. As HR Specialist, it is my job to ensure that all employees have a positive journey at Review Wave and therefore I read all reviews given and work with the proper channels in order to communicate feedback. I am so happy that you enjoyed working with our customer base and believed in the product that we provide - it is truly something that unites us all. I will work to communicate feedback to the proper channels. We are continuously re-examining our pay rates to ensure that they are both fair and competitive in the tech industry. We are also continuously participating in leadership development and training in order to ensure that we are developing into the best leaders that we can be. Pros

In-House Chiropractor, Provided Lunch, Nice Office, Great Co-Workers, Fun Environment and Upward Mobility. The upward mobility is hyper-dependent on the individual and the work they put in. Promotions are not given at this company, they are earned through continuous and consistent great work.

Cons

This is not an environment where you can coast. You have expectations of work to be done every day, week and month and you are held accountable to those metrics.

Pros

You develop thick skin fast.

Cons

If you are considering working here, please seriously protect your mental health and think twice. Aloha is emotional exhaustion disguised as hustle culture. You are not treated like a human being here, you are treated like a metric. Instead of constructive coaching, the environment feels centered around tearing employees down, creating anxiety, and keeping people in a constant state of stress and fear. Metrics and expectations are constantly changing, making it feel nearly impossible to ever truly succeed or feel accomplished no matter how hard you work. I personally experienced a major decline in my mental health while working here, and I was far from the only one. Burnout, anxiety, and emotional exhaustion felt normalized rather than addressed. Many employees looked mentally drained, yet were blamed for “not wanting it bad enough”. The CEO creates an environment built on fear, pressure, and financial insecurity rather than genuine leadership or mentorship. Motivation often felt rooted in making employees feel replaceable. The CEO cares about his personal image, money, and status while employees were left mentally and emotionally drained. The overall culture often felt immature, negative, and unprofessional. The gossip, disrespect, constant negativity, and behavior from upper management felt more like high school drama than a professional workplace. It created an environment where employees felt uncomfortable, unsupported, and emotionally exhausted before the workday was even over. There are far healthier companies where you can receive strong coaching, better compensation, real career growth, work-life balance, and leadership that actually values employees as people instead of production numbers. Save yourself.

Thank you for sharing this feedback. Aloha is a fast-paced, high-growth environment with ambitious goals, and we recognize that high standards must be paired with clear expectations, constructive coaching, and genuine care for our team members as people. We are truly sorry that your experience with us did not feel supportive or aligned with the environment we strive to create. While we cannot speak to the specifics of an anonymous review, we take feedback around burnout, communication, leadership, and culture seriously. We encourage you to connect with the People-Operations team or the Head of your department to share more specific details about your experience so we can better understand where we may have fallen short and work toward meaningful improvement. We are actively focused on listening to our team members, supporting our managers, communicating expectations clearly, and creating an environment where people feel valued, respected, supported, and able to grow.
