I should have known that Alorica was full of crap when I first stepped foot in the door at the area wide job fair. I spent the entire day at the Alorica Fredericksburg, VA location, simply due to system malfunctions. I couldn't even accept my offer letter that day and had to return the following week to submit that paperwork into their system. After making a special trip back to the call center, attempting to accept the offer online, they could not find my tax information, nor confirm the offer was accepted after I'd just submitted it! They said "It should go through, we'll let you know." Needless to say, two weeks later, it still hasn't been submitted. Three days into training, we hadn't received login information or badges. Considering this is a secure place of business, we were not able to navigate the building without badges. It's day 6, still no badges. Payday foolery. Alorica is a paperless company, therefore, your options are either direct deposit or pay card. I chose pay card because we could not submit direct deposit information because we still do not have login information. I don't even have my employee number yet. When I received my pay card and activated it, there was nothing on the card. When inquiring about this with HR, the response was there was error in the payroll department. They had submitted account numbers incorrectly, and they were not sure when we would get paid. It is Mother's Day weekend. The excuse was simply, "We have new people in payroll, they input they submitted wrong account numbers. Sorry." Yes, this is a very sorry excuse of a company, with no organization whatsoever. Not to mention, none of the information we received during our interviews was accurate, which we soon discovered the first day of training. Of the 6 days of training, we watched YouTube videos the first 3 days, and didn't start learning anything until yesterday because systems were unavailable. So much time wasted. Never again.
