Pros
Cannot think of good things to say!
Cons
- Low base pay. Bonus is high, but a blackhole (dependent on partner selling the project at the right changeability, ability of the partner to make collections before the bonus cycle, overall team utilization etc) - Very little geographical and gender diversity - mostly white men, and no effort at mitigating this. - Poor project portfolio and client base : Most of the top investors would not prefer recruiting A&M for pre or post aq work. 95% of the projects during my 1-1.5 years in the firm were for smallest of the clients at very low chargeable pay. - Overstaffed teams: Most partners struggle to utilize their team. 50% of supply chain team was not staffed for 4 months in a year. - Bad work culture: Most of the people here are ex-big 4 who bring in a lot of bureaucracy. Most partners or senior directors reward you on basis of hours put in the weekend and late nights. I wish they rewarded people on their skill set and value addition to the team. - Most pathetic pre aq diligence teams - Completely stay out of ODD and CDD teams. - Lastly, I always felt people who did not find decent exit options or were unable to rise up the ladder at ATK or other consulting due to incompetence, came to A&M's PEPI team and decided to flock here.
