Pros
can't think of any off the top of my head
Cons
-Pretty pathetic work culture: “boys club” containing only white men, no diversity in the Chicago office -COMMUNICATION: there was absolutely no communication, and when things fell through the cracks, fingers were pointed galore -TOXIC WORK ENVIORMENT: my supervising manager made the work day feel so uncomfortable that I basically rushed out of there everyday at 5pm on the dot. Not sure if it was because he very clearly hated women who he did not “crush on” or the simple fact that he wanted power in every situation, but it made working with him a living hell. Everyone in the office saw it, but nothing was done about it; it was basically get over it, or leave. -I was let go and got no explanation, other than I would be getting paid a two week severance. A week later, a guy replaced me; a man who’s father just so happens to be friends with the big shots up in NYC. -There was a lawsuit taken out against A&M a couple years ago and instead of firing the man, they just paid the woman off. -A former colleague dealt with sexual harassment from numerous members of this firm and while everyone was aware of it, nothing was done about it.
