Ameresco management that I dealt with in the South and at Corporate were misleading and dishonest to the Sales Team. They do not want to pay commissions on large sales. The written policy means NOTHING when its time to pay out large commissions. Despite what they tell sales peopl when recruiting them they offer very little sales support after you are hired and then hold sales reps responsible for the duties that should be performed by support personnel. There is an unusually high rate of turnover in most areas other than in New England where the company is based. Recently ( 2015-2016) MOST of the sales team in the Mid-West and South left the company. No loyalty at all from Management regardless of performance.
