Pros

Healthcare for individual provided at no cost. Options to purchase discounted company stock Some great sales people who genuinely want to save lives.

Cons

Unfair tier system for inbound calls leading to a select few people getting the best calls and subsequently 5-10k larger paychecks - despite all sales representatives having the same job title. Manager encouraged dodging questions and giving vague answers to clients about treatment costs leading to upset clients later being stuck with 10-20k bills. Upper management hardly listens to any feedback. Sales reps are encourage to call, text, & harass clients 5-6 times a day even when client don't answer (under the guise of saving lives when its really all about making money and who has insurance vs who doesn't) Manager told multiple sales representatives they are "too professional" when they truly wanted to be fair to client and provide great service without all the misleading sales tactics. Dealing with 2-3 extremely uncomfortable "Black" jokes "Latino" or "White" jokes almost once a week. Plantation mentality from upper management. Job is awful once you realize it's not really about saving lives and is instead just about making money off people struggling and desperately looking for help.

Pros

I’ve worked with some great people here over the years. Most have moved on to great opportunities.

Cons

Short deadlines and a lot of change while also being short staffed due to turnover. Upper management is all remote while accountants still work a hybrid schedule. It used to make sense to have a hybrid schedule because the previous CEO, CFO, VP, etc. were all in office the same days as accountants and had meetings in person. Since upper management is all fully remote now, the accountants should be as well. Benefits such as PTO is allowed to accrue to 80 hours and then it stops accruing. 40 hours max can be carried over to the next year. No PTO payout when you leave. Previously you were until this year. Holidays you get off are 8 holidays you choose from a list and New Years is a fixed holiday. Used to be more holidays similar to banking holidays. Performance Reviews were in July 2025 and we won’t see the pay raise until March 2026. Pay raises don’t happen every year. The reviews are very long and drawn out.
