Pros

Met a handful of good people.

Cons

Where to even start? I should have known this company was rotten from day one. Their hiring process was unprofessional and disorganized; they can't even terminate people properly. There's no standard protocol to anything because upper management has absolutely no clue what to do besides lick the ground the CEO walks on and throw everyone below them under the bus. The environment is 100% artificial and it's so obvious it makes me ill. They smile in your face while plotting against you--you never know how anyone really feels about you, and any day could be your last. If there was an option for 0 stars, I would gladly rate them as such. There are no capable managers who are looking out for the best for their team--it's every person for themselves. They act like they care and say "all the right things," but no action to back it up. No backbone whatsoever. There are no training opportunities or 1-on-1 meetings to discuss progress or growth. If you do so much as breath improperly, all of leadership takes it as a personal attack against them. It’s like petty high school drama but with people well into their 30s. This company does not invest in their employees, regardless of their tenure or skills. You get PTO but you are reprimanded for rightfully using it instead of sacrificing your health to come in to this toxic workplace. No matter your position or who you know, you get punished and ostracized for speaking up for what’s right. Do not trust this company to do anything right.

Pros

I’ve worked with some great people here over the years. Most have moved on to great opportunities.

Cons

Short deadlines and a lot of change while also being short staffed due to turnover. Upper management is all remote while accountants still work a hybrid schedule. It used to make sense to have a hybrid schedule because the previous CEO, CFO, VP, etc. were all in office the same days as accountants and had meetings in person. Since upper management is all fully remote now, the accountants should be as well. Benefits such as PTO is allowed to accrue to 80 hours and then it stops accruing. 40 hours max can be carried over to the next year. No PTO payout when you leave. Previously you were until this year. Holidays you get off are 8 holidays you choose from a list and New Years is a fixed holiday. Used to be more holidays similar to banking holidays. Performance Reviews were in July 2025 and we won’t see the pay raise until March 2026. Pay raises don’t happen every year. The reviews are very long and drawn out.
