Pros
The obvious benefit working for the airline are the flight benefits. It goes based on check in time rather than seniority, so even new hires can enjoy the nicer cabins on the widebodies.
Cons
Company morale especially for the pilots and attendants is at an all time low due to awful leadership. Everyday you are reminded that you do not matter. It's very normal to have every leg of a trip delay and have two plus hour sits in between legs. Days typically run 10 plus hours. When irregular operations hit the company, it is highly unlikely you will get the support you need from crew tracking and hotel/limo.
