Pros

Travel and 5.5% company 401K match.

Cons

Reserve/on call is like being on house arrest, flight benefits are no longer benefits as AA loves to over sell their seats and flights are always full. We get penalized for calling in sick and using earned sick time which goes towards negative points to termination. We do not get crew meals like pilots and sometimes no time to grab food with short ground time in between flights. We are exposed to higher radiation levels than nuclear plant workers, exposed to many other toxins, fumes, and before toxic uniforms as well as viruses and so on from passengers. We do not get paid for boarding, deplaning, 3+ hour ground time, delays, hold time on tarmac. The hourly pay is for flight hours only, per diem is $2.20 an hour domestic and $2.50 per hour on international trips.

Pros

People, 401k match, flight benefits

Cons

Low Pay for Tech, flight benefits for standby are now harder to use. Lots of offshoring. Company does not seem to know where to go. Lowest of the totem pole for airlines.
