Pros
Decent benefits (could be better for a health organization, but still decent). Team dependent, there was flexibility when needed. Coworkers are generally great. Upper leadership is not. Until this past July, we had work/life balance. There was flexibility. Our weekends were truly weekends. Not anymore.
Cons
Since new leadership took over in July, teams are on call on weekends and they're re-instating a mandatory return to office 3 days a week after being fully remote or flexible hybrid for the past 5 years. No relocation costs covered, no questions asked. The micromanaging is intense and there are no clear paths towards promotions, event for teams that have been only showed growth over countless years. New leadership says work/life balance is a "priority," but nothing they do reflects that.
