Pros

- Some of the people across teams are really cool and chill. - There are definitely a lot of smart people in the company - The product is one of the leaders in this space, so that's always a fun position to work from - You'll meet people in the company that are just mind-blowing people to know - you can sometimes get lucky and work on neat projects, but it is pretty luck based - the pay is unusually high, which is good but odd

Cons

It really is just a buyer beware. It's not a horrible company to work for in the grand scheme of things, but it will not be for everyone. There is a lot of "Rest and Vest" going on, and if you know how to play that game, you might be a good fit here. Don't get overly swayed by the compensation, and really dig deep during your interview on the things that are important to you. Ask for explicit examples of how they do this, that, or the other thing - to get a sense of it jives with your style. - It's an extremely siloed company and makes it hard to get anything done; there's very little cross-team planning and execution at all. - Strategy is created at the very top and then put out as a demand down the ranks, if you're not at the VP or higher level, you have very little say in the strategy or direction for what you're working on. So autonomy is pretty limited. - The company direction shifts very often, which can be hard to get grounded and do really good work - Non-males in leadership positions don't seem to last very long in the company for some reason - It's not really a super remote-friendly environment. It feels like they really want to be an in-person company. - A lot of really stellar people left the company before me, and quite a few more I know want to leave - benefits are kinda wonky, just make sure you know what you're getting into with your RSUs, 401K, health insurance, etc. - people have given up in places

Pros

Employees are encouraged to explore AI and automation tools, which creates strong opportunities to build future-relevant skills and experiment with process improvements beyond traditional role boundaries.

Cons

There can be a strong culture around visibility and perception here. In practice, employees often learn that highly visible work tends to carry more weight in performance and compensation discussions than work happening behind the scenes. It creates an environment where people naturally optimize for exposure rather than long-term process improvement. For prospective employees, especially those who prefer impact-driven work over visibility-driven work, It's worth thinking carefully about whether this environment aligns with your working style and career expectations.
